Within my Visual Arts HSC major work, I aimed to capture the multitude of expressions generated by a person. I achieved this by sticking to a static background of which I thought suited each subject’s personality.

Artist Statement:

Inevitably we seek to leave our teenage years behind, we feel a sense of loss and uncertainty about the upcoming future. I have depicted my close friends to gain an understanding of their journey from teenage years to their possible futures. I wanted to highlight the spectrums of thoughts and feelings we go through when we leave our comfort zone. I believe that our future is curated by the environment and our experiences. However, the future of my friends and I will be determined by us alone.
